THEOLOGY

This course is an introduction to Christian theology that will address the essentials of traditional Christianity such as the supremacy of love in both vertical and horizontal relationships, the theology of the Apostle’s Creed, the nature and character of the Bible (bibliology), the doctrine of God (theology proper), the person and work of Christ including His death, burial, and resurrection (Christology), the person and work of the Holy Spirit (pneumatology), the doctrine of man, sin and salvation (angelology, anthropology, hamartiology, and soteriology), the nature, mission and role of the Church (ecclesiology), and a description of end times scenarios (eschatology).
This is a 2 credit course.
Class is every Tuesday from 6:30PM - 8:30PM

OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT SURVEYS

      Each student will be issued an 8GB flash drive and binder containing Pastor Chuck Smith’s Through The Bible C2000 Series which is an audio commentary from Genesis to Revelation and a binder that the student will complete on their own time. Work will be turned in weekly. (1st Semester – Genesis to Job / 2nd Semester – Psalms to Malachi / 3rd Semester – Matthew to Acts / 4th Semester – Romans to Revelation)
This is a 3 credit course. 

You will turn in your work weekly on Tuesday's from 5:00PM - 8:00PM to CCBC El Centro

BOOK OF GENESIS

If you want a strong foundation in the Bible, then we highly recommend you register for this course. This will be a verse-by-verse study of the book of Genesis. We will examine the foundational truths of the origin of creation, man, sin, sacrifice, worship, languages, nations of the world, and redemption.
This is a 3 credit course.
Class is every Friday from 4:00PM - 7:00PM

HERMENEUTICS

If you want to be trained on how to properly unlock the truth of God's word for yourself, then we highly recommend you register for this course. This course is designed to introduce the student to basic principles for Bible study and Bible interpretation, focusing on a literal, historical-cultural, grammatical approach to the Scriptures. The student will be exposed to the various genres of the Bible while practicing principles for proper exegesis of the Scriptures.
This is a 2 credit course.
Class is every Thursdayfrom 5:00PM - 7:00PM.

CHAPEL

The Christian life is not only that is always academic or constantly working; there are times where God needs to refresh you. As a Calvary Chapel Bible College student, but more importantly as a follower of Jesus, it is important that you develop a lifestyle of fellowship, prayer, worship, and Bible study amongst His people. You can earn CCBC credit through this course which keeps you accountable to attend weekly Sunday morning and/or midweek services.
This is a 2 credit course.

Every Sunday morning and/or Midweek Service

1st, 2nd, & 3rd JOHN

This will be a verse-by-verse in depth study on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John. The Epistles of John are intensely practical letters addressed to Christian readers. They warn against the dangers of false teaching and exhort believers to live a life of obedience to God and love for their brothers and sisters. Its controlling theme is fellowship with God the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in love and truth.
This is a 2 credit course.

CM199 - PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

        This will give you the opportunity to put your theology into action. You will be stretched as you serve in new ways. There is a 30 minute lecture given by different speakers each week incorporated into the course to continually prepare you to serve in this course, but also develop a lifestyle of serving like Jesus.
This is a 2 credit course. 
Class is every Monday from 4:00PM - 4:30PM

APOLOGETICS

An overview of apologetics including the historical, scientific, and cultural aspects of the Bible. We will be evaluating and examining of the overall argument for the truthfulness and accuracy of Christianity. Emphasis will be placed on to the nature of truth, existence of God, the authenticity of Christ, his life, death, and resurrection, along with the reliability of the Bible, archaeology, and other components that constitute the core doctrines of Christianity.
This is a 2 credit course.
Class is every Tuesday from 4:00PM - 6:00PM.
